By Foot

The Royal Well Tavern is situated on Royal Well Place. This is a small road which leads off Cheltenham’s main one way system (The Evesham Road). By foot it is 1 minutes walk from the Promenade and Montpellier and is very conveniently located next to Cheltenham’s main bus station.

By Rail

Cheltenham Spa Railway station is located a 5 minute walk away; there are regular services from London and the North. We would be happy to book a taxi to collect you from the station if you don’t fancy the walk. Although there are regular taxis provided at the station please call us directly should you like us to arrange this for you on 01242 221212.

By Road

Cheltenham is reached from the north via the M5 and from London via Oxford from the M40 and then A40, follow the signs for the town centre.

Parking

Parking can be found on the Promenade where pay and display parking cost £1.20 per hour. There is a limited amount of free parking around Montpellier and Lansdown this is only a minute’s walk away. After 6pm parking is available outside the restaurant.

Opening Hours

The restaurant is open everyday from 10am.

Lunch – Monday to Friday 12noon-3pm

Dinner – Monday to Friday 5-10pm

Weekends

Saturday – Food is served all day from 12noon – 10.30pm

Sunday 10 – 4pm

The restaurant is open as usual on Bank Holidays
